I was sure I needed an alignment, while another garage mentioned that the car drove straight, the wheel was centred, and my Mazda 6 did not require one. Unconvinced, I went to Precision, who determined a play on an upper tie-rod end and performed a near-perfect alignment. I returned on the following day concerning a very minor off-centre steering issue. Zach, at the service counter, without any hesitation whatsoever, asked his technician to address my concern; I am now thrilled with a perfect alignment. Precision Alignment and Break always go above and beyond. I have been using them for years and Every experience has been positive. They provide quality work and a very competitive price. I shop around and no other mechanical shop can beat percisions prices. All the mechanics and Zack are very knowledgeable, take time explaining, are fair and honest. Zack has saved me 1000.00 of dollars on many occasions. EX. Two other mechanical shops told me I need a new back up camera and dash screen because I had the "blue screen of death." My name is Muhammad I’ve been to this shop like 3 times or so for various reasons one of them being for an alignment for my car, the first time I went their it was get my rear breaks done, the most recent one was being for replacement of my thermostat. Every time I go here I’m so pleased with zac he is a very outgoing person he will talk to you if you’re a talkative person and he makes interactions with you if you’re waiting on your car so you don’t get bored.read more

Went in to check my brakes as after a harder brake the pressure of the pedal hadn't come back up as fast as it normally would (took 2 days instead of 10 minutes). While the car was at their facility, apparently the pedal regained its pressure and they didn't have to perform any work. So I just paid for a brake inspection. Just the fact that they didn't try to tell me that there were more repairs to be done than necessary, made me trust them. Great service, good price, the staff was super friendly, explained everything to me and advised what might need to be looked at in the future for the next spring. I will definitely be choosing them again in the future. Update November 2021: Went in for the second time and oh boy, those guys are SUPERSTARS. The ABS module on my car broke down and due to multiple reasons it was a complex problem to deal with. They bent over backwards to figure out how to fix it and to make sure I get my car back on time. The brakes are now better than what they were when I bought the car 🤩 It is always such a pleasure to talk to them and there is a great value for the price. August 2021 Update - It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Precision Alignment. I wasn’t using my vehicle a great deal due to COVID so there was really no need. Now I’m back to driving a fair amount and planning to leave on a road trip next month. I needed to have a comprehensive inspection done on my vehicle in advance of the trip, as well as an oil change and any repairs that came to light as a result of the inspection. As it turned out, my vehicle required the wheel bearing replaced on the one rear wheel, and they were able to do it for me on the same day. Zac and Rolando provided excellent customer service and top notch work. I find them to be trustworthy and I continue to have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Precision Alignment. ************************************** I was referred by a friend to Precision Alignment back in 2013 & have been bringing my vehicle to them ever since. I am able to take my vehicle into them for regular services and repairs knowing that the job will be done right. In fact, they manage to exceed my expectations all the time. Zac is extremely professional and honest. His team is absolutely amazing. Come here if you want to deal with honest people got my car towed in thinking it had major problems with the transmission and could've easily been up charged for repairs but they don't do that here. Instead I was only charged for the minor repairs needed to fix the vehicle and they clearly know what they're doing unlike some nearby shops. Also Zack is a great guy to deal with!read more

Great experience here Zach and Carol helped me out lots here had my steering rack for my 2015 explorer replaced got the vehicle towed here as it failed on a grocery run when I brought them the vehicle I told them it was a rack and unlike many other shops in this part of town they didn't try to fight me over the diagnosis unlike many other shops in this area also a very clean and well organized shop again unlike almost every other shop in the area I'll definitely be back if I need warranty work done again even if they may charge a couple bucks more for labour per an hour do it for the peace of mind knowing that fully credited tech will be working on your car and not some randomread more

This shop is very professional in how they conduct themselves unlike many other shops. They are transparent and clear with their invoices and quotes so when i have issues i bring it to them. Staff are very friendly. The price Is worth the lack of a headache you would get with other shops and for the quality service you get here. Last time my truck had some electric issues with starting and i had braced myself to get billed hourly electrical labor rates so i was super happy when i found i was only getting charged for an alternator battery and starter test!read more

I recently moved to Calgary from BC and had to go through the unpleasant experience of an out of province vehicle inspection. I had taken my 2004 Ford Escape to a different shop that was nearby my house that said they would perform a 'pre-inspection' for me to let me know what I could expect when I did the inspection. They told me there was a tie-rod that was worn and a lower ball joint that needed replacement but everything else was fine. I had this work completed and brought my vehicle into Precision pretty much expecting that everything would pass. I was very surprised when I found out it had NOT passed and there was a list of about 10 items that needed to be fixed. The of course caused me some concern at first since I had already been told that everything was fine by another shop. But after looking into it more in depth, I am VERY thankful for Precision for performing the inspection in the manner it should be done. It turns out that the vehicle (which I had bought used) had been in an accident which caused the airbags to deploy. When this was fixed in BC, whoever did the work simply replaced the airbag, but rather than replacing the crash sensors, they took the dash apart and put a piece of black tape between the instrument light and the airbag symbol so there was no way to know the airbag light was actually on at all times. If it wasn't for Precision I would never have known that the entire airbag system was disabled. It took a few hours of my time and a few trips to the auto-wrecker to find used replacement sensors, but after swapping them out, all the airbag codes were cleared and everything is back to working. All of the other items that failed were basic, like license plate lights being burnt out and not having the rear headrests in the vehicle. Through the entire process Precision was extremely honest and upfront, the mechanics took the time to explain the issues, and the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. While I was frustrated at first with not passing, I recognize that Precision does not control what is on the inspection and it was certainly not their fault for my vehicle not passing the first time. Even though I completed the work myself and Precision was not making any money from me other than the inspection fee, they were extremely helpful and even apologetic for the strictness of the inspection process. I definitely appreciate their competence when compared to the shop I originally took my vehicle to that charged me almost $200 for their 'pre-inspection' and didn't even so much as look for trouble codes. Based on my experience with Precision, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their vehicle. I can completely see why they have so many 5* reviews. I will definitely be using their services in the future when I need work done, and will also be recommending them to my friends and family.read more

Took my vehicle here on recommendation from Zee Tire next door for a wheel alignment after having my tires replaced. The cost was fairly standard - $125 + GST. I was informed that the mechanic would take my car for a test drive and do an inspection to make sure everything was ok to proceed with an alignment. If there was something wrong with the shocks or tie rods, I wouldn’t be charged the full $125 but rather $59 for an inspection fee and if I wanted to, I could proceed with repairs through Precision or take their recommendations elsewhere. Fortunately, my car was fine and the wheel alignment proceeded as per usual. The appointment was booked for an hour, but I think we were good to go in 40 mins. I booked my appointment a few days in advance but it seemed like they had some good availability and you wouldn’t have to wait long to get in and have work done. The ladies at reception were fantastic - very friendly, explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood the process. When you walk in, the lobby smells like coffee and I’m told they “always have coffee going” :) there is a window and stools to sit at while you watch your car being worked on, which my kids loved! The ladies were very kind and engaging with my small kids - chatting with them and making them feel welcome and listened to. Hank did the work on my vehicle and he was an absolute sweetheart. Very kind and thorough, and I felt confident in the work he did. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get an alignment done! The staff is top-notch, the atmosphere welcoming, and the work is quality.read more

I've used this service center for many years, and have always received top quality service. The attention to detail is reflected in the quality of the work they perform which is outstanding. Alignments are done and checked, test driven, then re-checked. For other mechanical or suspension work or issues they explain and if requested are willing to show you what needs to be done, the urgency (if it can wait or not), and why. I've had everything from alignments, oil changes, suspension work, and even a clutch job done at this facility. I've never had any issues or problems with any work they have performed, and everything has been done within their time estimate. I do a lot of my own work, but anything I can't or don't feel comfortable doing goes here. Hank and Carol are nothing short of exceptional. For my most recent service I just came in for an alignment on my 08 Impreza. I also had an exhaust rattle from a loose heat shield that was annoying but not urgent, I didn't mention anything about it as I was planning to fix it myself at a later date, but when Hank was done with the car he mentioned it, and also mentioned he crimped it back on tight so it doesn't rattle anymore. A simple free fix he went out of his way to make, and it was much appreciated.read more

Absolutely first class service from start to finish. We have been taking both our cars here a few years now and have always been happy with the work performed and most importantly, never surprised. Melanie is the ultimate communicator in a world today that tends to shy away from proper and direct customer communication. Everything is laid out in advance with options on parts (standard/oem/premium etc) and associated labour costs/warranties. No surprises. Recent, I had my car totalled and I bought a used replacement. I booked in for a platinum inspection knowing a few things would probably require work. After the detailed inspection, a very thorough report with easy to read results and numerous hd pictures was forwarded to me. The report listed the "fine", "ok now but needs future attention", and " requires attention now". Absolutely nothing was done until Melanie called with a follow up conversation to the report. We discussed the report, service and parts options and not once was I pressured into doing anything. I proceeded with work based now on an informed position. All work was completed on time and on budget. Very happy as usual. Sidenote: They gave me a cost break on the platinum inspection since I had a fair bit of work performed. I could have simply paid the very reasonable cost for the very detailed report and left. Do not expect to get this type of report for free. No free lunches people. In closing, as a now retired person who has owned many, many cars, it is comforting to know we have a shop like this for our cars. Warm fuzzy feeling when you have ( Carol and Hank) the owners on premise. Hank is usually seen in the bays, not only supervising but hands on as well. All the staff for that matter are top shelf. I have recommended them to my family and friends. I drive across the city 45 minutes to go there, because I trust them. I trust them because they communicate clearly what they're going to do, they've always done what they've said, and have worked to save me and my family money over the years. I had a fantastic experience here. They were quick and did a great job. I experienced some noise which I noticed after my alignment however I had also put new tires on the same day. When I went to see if they could tell me what was going on the owner come out, took me for a drive in my car and inspected it. Turned out, as predicted, it was my tires. He was happy to help me out; and you could tell. When I asked about what his prices were to service my other car, for which I already have a mechanic, he told me a lot of interesting stuff about preventative maintenance which I hadn’t heard about - all which was confirmed after some research. Needless to say I was sold on them as my new go-to shop even though my original mechanic was cheaper; not to say that Precision is at all overpriced. Anyway, I’m very happy with my experience here. They really went out of the way to help me - and the fact that their waiting room has a big glass window so you can see your car being worked on speaks volumes.read more

Above and beyond any expectations. This shop took care of me during a cross Canada road trip. Got me a new tire, installed and checked the pressure of my other tires identifying the cause and solution all within a few hours. WOW ! What a customer service! From the call to my van pick up it's been an awesome experience. Extremely nice and knowledgeable staff. I have had multiple vehicles worked on by Precision and they have always been honest and professional. I recently had them build my new front struts and coil springs which involved taking apart my original ones as the one ones used the original hardware. I had someone from Precision call me back to confirm which setting I wanted to the new adjustable strut set to as I did not specify. I'm a car moron. They made me feel at ease and not at all anxious about having my car there. They didn't treat me like a moron, even when I had to have everything explained. I felt I could trust them. They were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about what was going on with my car and tires. If you need something fixed on your vehicle, or just need an oil or tire change, Precision Alignment & Brake is the place to go. I don't usually write reviews but this auto shop is outstanding. Over the years I have taken both of my vehicles to them (some times with some really serious issues) and each time I have been extremely impressed with the service I've received. It is a family owned/operated business and honesty is the policy there. I am telling you right now that they will never steer you in the wrong direction! Pun intended lol, but in all seriousness, I appreciate the fact everyone there is knowledgeable, informative and they care about their customers. They also have really reasonable prices so all in all it's worth the drive for me from the NW to get there. I'm glad that I know about this place and I definitely recommend it to everyone. Absolutely 100% customer-centric!!! I had gone into Precision Alignment & Brake Ltd to get my tires rotated. I was in and out in no time. PROS: -The price was very reasonable -There is a waiting area there where you can see the actual technicians working on the cars. -Dealing with Hank, David and Carol was nothing short of a very positive experience. -My biggest pro would have to be when they pointed out a leaky strut. This is something that can potentially cost upwards of $300. -Fast, friendly and reliable service. CONS: -None so far I highly recommend Precision Alignment & Brake Ltd.
